Streets emptied
of children’s toys
that’d have been
cogs in your wheels
as you stroll by.

Bars lost their vibes
of harbouring waists
that’d wriggle and whisk
your monies out of your
brains just for a cum.

Houses filled to the brim
with co-tenants whose
wits kept ranting about
the aroma of food from
your darling room of boredom.

Hospitals’ attendance sheets
risen like an alerted manhood
starved for ages only to
be set free alone in a room
with a beau. We won’t lock up!
